AD100 is a concept created by Architectural Digest that brings together the most creative individuals, firms, and groups working in the fields of interior design, architecture, and decor. The AD100 2023 Hall of Fame list has been released, and we will share it today. The AD100 2023 list showcases 100 notable visionaries, idols, and inventors from the United States and around the globe, hence why it’s worth keeping an eye on and getting to know more about the most inventive professionals in the field of design.
Award-winning architect Sir David Adjaye is well known for incorporating his creative sensibilities and ethics into community-driven projects. Because of his inventive use of materials, custom designs, and imaginative sensibilities, he has distinguished himself as one of the foremost architects of his generation.

Tadao Ando, a Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect, primarily employs the material concrete in his work and consistently demonstrates how architecture can coexist peacefully with nature and its surroundings, even with little or no ornamentation. It’s common to see Tadao Ando cited as the architect who most perfectly exemplifies the minimalist aesthetic, which emphasises simple shapes and elements.
Backen, Arrigoni & Ross was co-founded by Howard J. Backen, who later founded Backen & Gillam Architects in Napa, California. He has a decades-long portfolio of housing, retail, and hospitality projects, as well as 40 wineries that interact with and are inspired by the West Coast environment that his company has helped to develop.
Louis Benech had a genuine interest in flora, which led him to landscape design and gardening. After receiving his legal degree, he chose to work as an agricultural labourer for Hillier nurseries in England. He is a well-known landscape architect in France and a fixture on the social scene in his home country.

Working on projects for colleges and universities, cultural institutions, individual homes, boutique hotels, commercial and multifamily developments, and structures for clients with noble missions, they have amassed extensive expertise.
