The year 2022 is almost over, and with it comes to the prediction for the following year’s trends, so make sure you leave some time to search and know more about the trends following these events and, if possible, maybe even visit them.

Design Events until December

London Design Festival (17-25 of September)

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the London Design Festival, which will return to the city from September 17 to September 25, 2022, with an outstanding programme of events, exhibits, and installations. The Festival will once again give a platform for designers and creative firms to present their work, as well as an invitation to a worldwide audience to explore the breadth and depth of talent available in London and throughout the United Kingdom. It is one of Europe’s most well-known and up-and-coming furniture design events!

Feria Hábitat València (20-23 of September)

The Feria Hábitat València will take place between September 20 and September 23, 2022. This will be the culmination of the city’s year-long celebration of “Made in Spain” innovation. The interior design and furniture expo’s 56th edition is a must-see event for the international design community. Luxxu will be in attendance at the Feria Hábitat València.

Beijing Design Week (21-23 of September)

For the fifth year, Beijing Design Week will showcase both worldwide and local design talent, as well as a cultural programme of lectures and installations. The design festival invites architects and designers from all over the world together to debate, communicate, and exchange ideas, points of view, and aims. A expo featuring hundreds of designers, galleries, and businesses, as well as international lecturers and designers and local design talent, is part of the event.

IDS Vancouver 2022 (22-25 of September)

The Interior Design Show Vancouver (IDS VANCOUVER) is the Pacific’s largest exposition of innovative goods and furnishings, superstar designers, and avant-garde concepts from North America and beyond. One of the most significant design events you should definitely not miss.

Light + Building (2-6 of October)

Light + Building, the world’s largest trade show for lighting and building services engineering, will return to Frankfurt, Germany, this autumn following a two-year absence due to the pandemic and rescheduling from its initial March 2022 date.

Biennale Interieur (20-24 of October)

The 27th Biennale Interieur is being held in the Kortrijk Xpo fairground in Kortrijk, Belgium. The expo includes exhibits from major furniture and interior product manufacturers, as well as special exhibitions and discussions. The biennial expo will be held for the first time in 2019 after the 2021 event was postponed owing to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Dutch Design Week (25-29 of October)

Dutch Design Week, held each year in Eindhoven and marketed as Northern Europe’s largest design event, brings together over 2,600 designers and creatives to present the best in design and innovation.

Orgatec (25-29 of October)

For the first time since 2018, the biennial Orgatec office furniture trade expo will be held in Cologne in October. The event and its associated speaker programme will look at how Covid-19 has influenced workplace culture and design.

Design Miami (30-4 of December)

The Design Miami collectable design event concludes the year by gathering designers, curators, critics, and gallerists in the Florida sunshine.
