The Hong Kong Science Park development pushed the boundaries on reduction, efficiency and generation. Using Mace’s expertise in sustainable technologies and materials, they project managed one of the most environmentally friendly buildings in Hon Kong.
Working closely with the client’s development and contracting teams, Mace’s team was brought on board to successfully deliver Turkey’s most desirable resort.
Mace has been involved in the Porto Montenegro scheme since 2006, providing a range of services which turned the under-used shipyard into a world class luxury destination.
It was important that the space directly encourage students to further their learning on campus. The space is designed so that students can meet up, grab a coffee or food and participate in discussions with fellow classmates, long after their lectures have finished.
Hailed as a landmark project, the six year renovation project of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre has been lauded with numerous accolades and was delivered on time and on budget. Dedication to building great relationships was the final piece of the puzzle in the project, with community open days and local school involvement throughout.
Vietnam and Germany established a strategic partnership in 2011 to enhance the political, economic and cultural ties between the two countries. Deutsches Haus, a premium-grade office building in Ho Chi Minh City, provides a focal point for German business and technology, and facilitates a closer relationship between the two countries.
Having successfully project managed the high-specification embassy and consulate projects for the German government, as well as having a professional and highly motivated team on the ground in Vietnam, Mace was appointed by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deliver the 25-storey building, starting with preconstruction in 2014.
The Student Centre, built between listed buildings, is spread across eight floors and centred around a striking atrium, providing a place for all students to study, learn, think, collaborate and explore. It’s also a hub for social activity with event space, prayer and meditation rooms, and a student enquiries centre for disability, mental health and well being support.
The significant and progressive development has changed the way students interact and learn – encouraging socialisation and connectivity through a range of facilities and designs. With the addition of floor to ceiling windows, a roof terrace and tranquil urban courtyard, the Student Centre is already proving its value as a focal point for study, events and student life.

Drawing on the heritage and reputation of the Repton School in the UK, the Repton Dubai School was founded in 2007 and is now one of the leading educational facilities in the Middle East.
By the start of the 21st century India’s most populous city and commercial capital had developed into one of the world’s major financial hubs, attracting people from across the world, but it needed an international airport that supported its ambitions.
Mumbai’s International Airport Ltd undertook a major programme to expand the city’s airport and bring it up to the highest international standards. At the heart of these plans was the construction of a new Terminal 2, built to replace the existing terminal, which now caters for more than 40 million passengers a year – more than four times the capacity of its predecessor.
