Museums

Louvre Museum

The Louvre is the world’s largest and historic monument in Paris. A central landmark of the city, it is located on the right Bank on the Seine in the city´s 1st arrondissement. Approximately 38,000 objects from prehistory to the 21st century are exhibited over an area of 72,735 square meters. In 2017, this museum was the world’s most visited.

Museé Nacional Picasso

The Museum of Picasso is an art gallery located in the Hotel Salé in rue de Thorigny, in the Marais district of Paris. Dedicated to the work of the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, the museum collection includes more than 5,000 works of art.

Museé de l´Armeé

The museum de l’Armée is a national military museum of Franca located at Les Invalides in the 7the arrondissement of Paris. It is served by Paris Métro stations Invalides, Varenne and La Tour-Maubourg.

Place de la Bastille

The Place de la Bastille is a square in Paris where the Bastille prison stood until the storming of the Bastille and its subsequent physical destruction between 14 July of 1789 and 14 July of 1790 during the French revolution. Actually, no vestige of the prison remains.

Monuments

Arc de Triomphe

One of the most popular attractions in Paris, Inspired by Rome’s Arch of Titus, the Arc de Triomphe is located in Paris in the world’s largest traffic roundabout and is the biggest and tallest triumphal arch in the world.

Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower, one of the must-see in Paris, can’t be missed from any spot while walking around in the city. It was built by the French engineer Gustave Eiffel which was already famous at the time for building bridges. He spent several years building the Eiffel Tower as a monument for the World Exhibition in 1889.

Notre-Dame de Paris

The Place Charles de Gaulle, historically known as the Place de l’Étoile, is a large round junction in Paris. The meeting point of twelve straight avenues including the Champs-Élysées.
