December Design Events
Art Basel Miami – 01-03 December
Art Basel Miami Beach billed as North America’s most comprehensive international contemporary art fair, will mark its 20th anniversary with its largest show to date on December 1 – 3, 2022 (the invitation-only preview is November 29 – 30, 2022). Thousands of art dealers, artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts will be able to view modern and contemporary art from 283 galleries in 38 countries. Art Basel Miami Beach is one of only four Art Basel fairs in the world, the others being in Hong Kong, Paris, and Basel, Switzerland, where it all began.

Design Miami – 30 November – 03 December
Design Miami announces its return to Miami Beach, Florida for the 18th edition of the fair, which will take place from November 30 to December 4, 2022, with Preview Day on November 29, 2022. The fair will be held along with Art Basel at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Convention Center Drive and 19th Street. Every year, Design Miami/ invites an expert jury to review the onsite exhibits and present the Best of Show awards. The Design Miami/ jury this year included architect Lee Mindel, art advisor Simon Andrews, design collector Al Eiber, Grela Orihuela, Design Miami/ Vice President of Fairs, and Wava Carpenter, Curatorial Director.

Regional handicrafts, creative living ideas, smart energy-saving solutions, inspiration, and independent advice – Heim+Handwerk at the Munich Exhibition Center offers everything for your own four walls from November 30 to December 4, 2022.
