Dimorestudio, founded in Milan in 2003 by Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci, is a full-service, worldwide architectural and design studio that specializes in residential, retail, and hospitality projects, as well as manufacturing furniture, textile, and lighting concepts under the brand Dimoremilano.

DIMORESTUDIO FOUNDERS

Moran and Salci’s adventure began in the same Milan building where Dimorestudio now operates, and it progressed and flourished owing to a deft blend of ornamentation, artifacts, contemporary art, significant mid-century pieces, and, eventually, aspects and places that they created and manufactured themselves.

References are crucial to their work. From laborious study to the precise and rigorous selection of pieces, textures, smells, and sounds, from abstract to perceptible, synapsis to the outcome, each unit of the ensemble feeds the senses and represents Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran’s creativity. All selected details have weight and significance because of their distinct and personal perspective and taste, which stems from their individual and cultural encounters with the world.

1- DIOR Dubai

The cooperation with Dior exemplifies an alchemy of savoir-faire quality, a specific French art-de-vivre, and Dimorestudio’s perfect trademark.

2- DIOR NEW YORK

Dimorestudio created and organized the Dior room in Bergdorf Goodman in New York. To accentuate the uniqueness and great quality of the items on exhibit, custom-made fixtures, displays, and furnishings were constructed.

The zodiac and tarot symbols featured in Maria Grazia Chiuri’s previous designs are referenced by astrological inspired motifs found on a magnificent carpet.

As a tribute to the Maison’s legacy, the three ottomans matched with the golden and silver custom table in the middle are constructed of cannage, one of the Maison’s distinctive codes.

INSPIRED BY THE LOOK

The shop channels the architectural and design firm’s signature surface treatment with a rich gradient of blue colours ranging from subdued to dark, interacting with brass, steel, and glass elements, as well as a neutral colored lacquered shell.

3- DIOR Saint Tropez

Dimorestudio’s design for the Dior Saint-Tropez boutique is a tribute to understated elegance.

Rare historical objects take center stage, contrasted with custom-made exhibits and furniture elements manufactured by skilled artisans. Except for the colors and flooring, the fundamental construction of the antique building has remained untouched.

The atmosphere exudes artisanal expertise, refinement, and timelessness, thanks to the use of beautiful materials and superb textiles.
