La Maison Interior Design is a full-service interior design firm established in 2000. Spanning nearly two decades, La Maison has completed a variety of interior projects ranging from New York to Los Angeles.
Lead Designer, Mitra Shahi, and her associate designers at La Maison are passionate about creating authentic designs and strive to go above and beyond each clients’ dreams and fulfill each of their wishes.

Mitra Shahi – principal designer – creates interiors rooted in tradition, personality and quality. She approaches each project with the goal of capturing her clients’ essence and creating timeless spaces. Mitra has designed homes in climates and cultures as distinct as Scottsdale, New York, Tucson, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
Molly Williamson – design assistant – believes firmly that a well-designed room can be life-changing; this passion for beautiful spaces and a desire to help others improve their lives through interior design translates to her work at La Maison, helping clients create joy in their own homes.
With an educational background in sustainability, Molly is adept at improving the value of a project by lowering its environmental footprint. Whether putting together colour palettes or managing spreadsheets, Molly loves the diversity and excitement of working at LMID.

Arianna Baroni Bonnet – design assistant – has a background in fashion and advertising which allows her to draw on transferable skills giving her a unique approach to interior design. She brings her passionate and enthusiastic attitude to her role at LMID as she supports the team with FF&E, vendors outreach, designing and coordinating.
Vision
La Maison begins with fabric. Fabric inspires colours, colours inspire moods, sketches conjure furnishings from thin air, travel photographs translate atmosphere wordlessly, and floor plans carve spaces for community and solitude. Inspiration is mystical.
