With the holiday season in full mode, one would assume the design world would slow down – but au contraire. There are lots of exciting fairs and events to attend this month! Miami only is blowing up with design events and different exciting parties and stores that are definitely worth a visit.
From Art Basel and Design Miami/ to ICFF South Florida and CasaCor Miami, you’ve got the brand new place to be while spending this seasonal month and enjoy a different holiday with design vibes and lots of inspirations for the kick off of the new year.
ICFF SOUTH FLORIDA
An extension of May’s New York version, the Florida edition of this major trade fair focuses on interior designers, architects, retailers, developers and distributors with ties to Florida, the Caribbean and all of Latin America. Located about an hour north of Miami, it is very easy to align with the nearby events – Art Basel and Miami Design Week.
ICFF features approximately 900 exhibitors and more than 36000 participants who join together to showcase the best of design. In this event, ICFF Talks is the knowledge sharing moment where you can be part of discussions and hear different perspectives regarding the different areas. The Luxe Interiors + Pavilion Design is the space where interior designers, architects and decorators can inspire themselves and find solutions to all their future projects linked to the luxury market.

Running alongside Art Basel Miami Beach, this cutting-edge design fair represents the essence of interior design in both high-end and contemporary perspectives. This Design Week provides an exciting yet accessible experience for professionals and design enthusiasts to check out jaw-dropping exhibitions. With all the roads leading to this outstanding-quality exhibition, the different panels and lectures only add up to the experience.
A tradeshow that is all about exclusive furniture, lighting and objets d’art, this year the associated Design Visionary award will be given to husband-and-wife team Pedro Reyes and Carla Fernández.

ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH
The art world’s must-attend annual fair returns this year with 200 galleries presenting work by 4000 artists as well as countless parties and after-parties. As usual, everyone attending will be delighted with the series of conversations on topics concerning the global contemporary art scene.
An immersive experience made of breathtaking exhibitors and genuiene discoveries, different perspectives and involving galleries.

CASACOR Miami is the most complete architecture, interior and landscaping design exhibition in North America. Returning this December for its second year, it is without a shred of doubt a breath of fresh air in the interior design world.
The exhibition consists of more than 20 spaces with different micro-environments – from wild roots to technology, from modernism to naturalism. The 15-day experiential urban living exhibition gives guests the opportunity to meet participating designers and brands while engaging with these innovative design ideas.
