Zaha Hadid, the first women to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize, was born in Baghdad Iraq in 1950 and moved to London in 1972, to study architecture at the Architectural Association. In 1977 she joined the Office of Metropolitan Architecture and in 1980, she founded Zaha Hadid Architects . Since then, her modern architecture projects have been recognized and awarded all over the world.
