Vanderplas Meubel & Project BV is a family business, founded in 1957 as a furniture factory. Since 1986 operating nationwide as interior builder of special furniture. In 1993 the offering of a complete furnishing package was set up with high-quality furniture brands such as Cappellini, B&B Italia, Edra, Zanotta and others.

Vanderplas has its own workshop working with an average occupancy of 22 people in the factory. Spraying furniture in their own workshop. Vanderplas is a partner in the total process with furniture making / interior construction. Vanderplas keeps on searching for innovation. A search stimulated from improving existing materials or because existing materials simply do not fit the need, demand or objective. Certain materials also stimulate different ways of thinking and new forms arise.

A lesson from the past is that Vanderplas has not thought carefully about the nature of the materials. Materials from earlier products often leave something to be desired. However, the new products must be made from a material that can be reused later.
