We know Margaux Keller, for her sweet and delicate universe full of avant-gardist shapes. One time again, the designer from Marseille send us positive waves with her summer collection called Vue Mer Serie 01 and made in collaboration with local craftsmen in a 100% renewable way.
The collection is composed of 5 products, each of them in a limited edition and though on a useful Optique. Therefore, we can find a salt and pepper box, 2 mirrors and 2 vases all of them are blue, like the sea that was her inspiration. Margaux Keller is seeing the sea every day from her studio in the heart of Marseille, and it is as a tribute that she created that collection. Its ondulations, its shapes, its colors, its moods, it is all of those characteristics owned by the sea that the designer shows off in this new collection.
The vase is composed of blue borosilicate glass and blew up by blowpipe. Inspired from the antiquity in Greece, we find 0n its handles the good luck eye that the Greek navigators were painting on their ships. The vase is limited to 20 pieces.
Like the vase Hualos, the vase Belu is made of blue borosilicate glass and inspired by Greek antiquity. However, this one shows off a Greek amphora in which one all the flower will look like exploding of life and health.
The mirror Maré speaks about the pure limit between the sky and the sea, between the intense blue of the Mediterranean sea and the white of a cloudy sky. Made of silver blue and coral, the back of this mirror is in black lacquered medium with golden brass fasteners. 60 model available.
The mirror Garibadou is speaking about the movement of the sea with the years passing. Its made if blue and coral silver with a back in black lacquered medium and fasteners in golden brass and will only be edited of 30 models.
Finally, the salt and the pepperbox Ormeau. With such a name it could only look like two shells on in the other. The salt box is blue, made of borosilicate glass and blowpipe made and the pepperbox is made of white porcelain.
To conclude, Margaux Keller used perfectly the local know-how one more time to create a bright collection full of charm. Most of the items are already sold out but if you rush a bit maybe you can become the owner of one of those charming pieces from the collection Vue Mer Série 01.
