The firm’s work has received several awards and been featured in major publications and books.
Steps from Central Park, this sprawling 7-room corner home offers space, timeless elegance, luxury, privacy and location. Residence 2B has a more than generous layout with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and a powder room. The views are open and the expansive windows serve as a picture frame, overlooking Madison Avenue and 91st St. The formal dining room comfortably seats 8 people. An over-sized master suite makes for the perfect retreat for relaxation. The apartment features two more generous sized bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. In addition the apartment also features a tastefully decorated powder room.
Sawyer | Berson reconceived the central atrium of a New York townhouse as a soaring dining area. Japanese ink paintings are displayed on the walls, which are sheathed in a raw silk by Larsen; the chandeliers are from Circa Lighting, the mantel was custom made by Chesney’s, and the Agra rug is from Mansour. Enhancing the library’s far wall is a circa-1300 Japanese scroll; the walnut bookcases and paneling were crafted by Symm and Co., and the Agra carpet is late 19th century. The master bath, clad in cipollino marble, is equipped with a circa-1940 hanging light from Carlos de la Puente Antiques.
The impeccably detailed, luxuriously decorated house offers 3,500 square feet of private indoor living space, including 4 bedrooms and 4-1/2 baths. To one side of the living area are the formal dining room, wet bar, pantry, and an incredible chef’s kitchen. On the opposite side are the cozy den/media room, equipped with a state-of-the-art a/v system, and a ground-floor master bedroom with en-suite bath. Outdoor living space includes multiple seating areas, two outdoor dining tables, a covered porch with outdoor fireplace, and a 15×40-foot Gunite pool with separate spa. The home offers the latest in technology and comfort: Two-car detached garage. The perfect location for a fabulous summer vacation: less than a mile to beautiful Egypt Beach and Wiborg Beach, and less than half a mile to the Jitney, restaurants, shopping, and the movies.
