Sneha Divias Atelier – Dining and Living Room

Born in Portugal, Sneha Divias Atelier holds a Master Degree in Architecture from the Lusiada University of Porto and specialized in Interior Design at New York University. Having worked on projects globally with renowned architecture and design consultants in Lisbon and Dubai prior to founding the Atelier, Sneha helms the firm with true entrepreneurial vision.

Villa Barr Al Jissah

Sneha Divias Atelier was inspired by the cinematic views and breathtaking landscapes, Barr Al Jissah is the secluded luxury paradise where glorious mountains and calming waters harmoniously lie in the background. the synchronous motif was preferred, along with a vivid outdoor setting that would coincide with the client’s living standards. Despite there being separate private and social living spaces, the Atelier integrated both these divisions in a way that created flow and steady organization. This is achieved by relying heavily upon the palette which included bold finishes. These would contrast with the woodwork and metal detailing, for which brass as the medium was selected.

The colour palette choose by Sneha Divias Atelier for the Bar Al Jissah villa was complemented by smooth exteriors and shades of autumn that worked to radiate homely warmth.

Sneha Divias Atelier in this project uses a rigid structural grid that defines the project from outside to inside, signaling its presence on the façade, while acting as a framework within which each function of the villa is contained. Upon entering, the concept of an “urban oasis” is immediately present through the the interiors.
