With a long history of developing along the mountain, the unique urban landscape of Italian mountain cities provides the armature for the design concept of the LA CRESTA Sales Office, which is located at Kowloon Bay, with an area of approximately 30 thousand ft2. Inspired by the mystical atmosphere of Hong Kong’s most eclectic design influences, LA CRESTA Sales Office was born from the perfect combination of greyish and brownish tons, textured by the fierce lines of some of BRABBU’s most iconic upholstery pieces. Elements of nature are integrated into the interior through streamlines, layered wall features, celebrating the contours and tectonic qualities of the natural landscape.
In the world of design, rare are the studios capable of such a wide range as PTang Studio. This project is living proof that different elements coming from different styles can create a cohesive project, using the space’s architecture and natural light, with extra help from BRABBU. A living room with large ceiling-to-floor windows is the ideal background for decoration with different colours and textures since it highlights these elements.

St Regis Hong Kong’s sleek and sophisticated interiors received critical acclaim in a city famous for its luxury hospitality offering. The 27 storey tower has a glittering, graphic presence on the Hong Kong waterfront in Wan Chai, one of Hong Kong’s oldest districts, which the trams still pass through. The heritage of Hong Kong is referenced throughout the hotel; old gas street lamps from Duddell’s Street, colonial columns from the old Wan Chai police station and panelling, inspired by the classic Hong Kong mansions.
A luxury duplex penthouse apartment with stunning views across Hong Kong Island to Victoria Harbour and beyond. Atelier Lane was briefed with transforming what was an awkward space over two floors into a spacious, light-filled family apartment with classic touches. It was an incredibly open brief, the entire home was remodelled and refurnished including new doors and windows, floor finishes, wall treatments and colours, a new lighting language, and a complete furniture package.
Situated near the vibrant retail and dinning hub of Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island, this 613-key urban hotel attracts mostly business travelers from East Asia & South East Asia. The concept for the refurbishment is inspired by the romantic and nostalgic notion of winding back the clock to the city’s past as a small port, thriving from trade and commerce. The interior design concept skillfully bridges the city’s whimsical past and contemporary future, providing a beautiful and memorable time capsule for travellers who wish to experience the city’s hidden treasures in a different time and place.
Bean Buro was tasked with the design of a family apartment of 156sqm in Repulse Bay Southside of Hong Kong. Perched on a lush green mountaintop, a context-rich with natural light and sweeping vistas, the notion of ‘abundance’ became a central narrative principle from which the design organically evolved. The dining space serves as the main front of house space, with a bespoke dining table constructed in fluted timber and a warm-coloured stone top with metal edging. The backdrop is a horizontal display niche, with a set of tall meshed brass doors to conceal a drinks bar.

An art collection acquired with Deborah Oppenheimer formed the inspiration for this city apartment with a green view to the south and Victoria harbor to the north. Wire brushed grey oak floors lead one through a meticulous procession of spaces. The use of natural honed stone and brushed metal are juxtaposed with the use of strong colour: a red cord for lighting elements, pale rose for 1950’s armchairs and umber glass all live in perfect symbiosis.
The St. Regis captures the essence of the city with its bespoke details which are elegantly mingled into the design. City skylines are translated into modern sculpture with the use of crystal and light. This is juxtaposed with art deco inspirations that are classics to the sophisticated guest.
The design team drew inspiration from practical yet distinctive touches present in contemporary yachts, luxury motorcars, and private jets. Dated elements such as the brocade and gilt chandeliers were replaced with cream upholstery, vintage luggage-inspired drawer handles, and leather-finished wardrobes. Copper-colored Chinese-inspired ink paintings were hung on the walls to marry the past with the future, creating a special, timeless feel.
Located in the greener Kwu Tung area, Eden Manor sits harmoniously beside the stunning landscape of Hong Kong Golf Club, one of the world’s most distinguished golf clubs and Asia’s most historical one. The project is built from south to north along the golf site which brings it a distinguished golf course view. Full-view windows are applied on residential buildings, allowing for more natural light. As its name implies, Eden Manor is creating a new suburban lifestyle combining the tranquility of the neighborhood and the vibrancy of the city.
The client wanted to give her current 10-year-old 2-bedroom apartment a whole new look without changing any layout or major renovation. She wanted it to feel different. She wanted it to feel fresh. Why not? The team found some new furniture and decor lighting pieces, made some new doors, added some nice accessories, changed some paint colour, and put up a feature wallpaper, and transformed that interior design project!
The Studio combined a contemporary approach with mid-century Brazil to create a fresh and playful interior for this property, even bringing in Brazilian design classics by Sergio Rodrigues and Jorge Zalszupin. Loyal to a palette of materials that would showcase the authenticity and untreated quality behind finishes. Marble was kept in its chiselled state for bathrooms and feature columns, whilst the living room chandelier is composed of a series of carved walnut shells that serve to reflect ambient light into space.
Fashionable, modern, and sustainable, this Bali Industrial-inspired haven in Causeway Bay is an eclectic mix of New York’s robust lifestyle and Bali’s relaxing ambiance. As a home for a designer originally from Indonesia and who studied in New York, the home reflects a unique style mixed with locally sourced materials that beautifully captures the best of both places. All throughout, the space is beautifully designed with a unique sense of fabric and texture that can be found in unexpected places, specially pieced together with locally sourced rattan materials from Bali. To open up the space and bring industrial features, windows and light fixtures were installed.

The owner’s preference for patterns and fabrics has been infused into this home set in one of Hong Kong’s hillside villages overlooking Lobster Bay. The ground floor has been configured to make the most of the interior and garden space, allowing the two to be unified and focused on a central swimming pool. This openness continues through to the upper floors with the bedrooms and family areas, where expansive use of large sliding doors and windows allows the walls to open up and enjoy the green and waterfront views.
