studioHeimat comes from the friendship between Eva Muller Bradley and Alicia Cheung Lichtenstein.

These two design lovers met while working for the influential designer Ken Fulk and from there one, they didn’t stop surprising us!

Whilst leading residential, commercial and hospitality projects, Eva Bradley and Alicia Lichtenstein developed a close friendship and together chased a life-long dream of opening their own firm in 2015

studioHEIMAT’s process starts with the discovery of the client, an initial meeting at the job site where they get a feel of their clients, their hopes and desires for the space. The architecture and unique site really inform and dictate the interior design to come.

Concept design and space planning is the stage where concept and inspiration images for the space take place. This is where studioHEIMAT thinks about the full potential of the clients space, whether it is a home, bar, restaurant or office.

Design development follows, and is where the concept becomes a reality. It is where specifics on floor plans, elevations, and details get established, and the process of selecting light fixtures, material finishes, furniture pieces and custom built-ins are initiated.

Using feedback from the Design Development phase, studioHEIMAT document details for each item in order to begin the purchasing, implementation, and logistics phase. For custom items, the fabrication process is initiated, as well as the construction.

The finally stage is installation. studioHEIMAT’s team comes in with all the furniture, accessories, and art and place it all together to complete the design. This is where the set comes together with love, develops a soul and becomes a true HEIMAT.
