On June BRABBU team had the opportunity to interview the talented creators of Moongata Showroom modern design: Alfredo Díaz and José Usero. In an intimate talk that took place at the Moongata Showroom in the heart of the charming Barrio de Las Letras, Madrid, BRABBU discovered the magic behind the concept of the Spanish design showroom: that José and Alfredo have an incredible exquisite taste for a modern interior design capable of dissecting desires in people’s minds and hearts.

And in reality, we started to see things that we already loved that called us to attention and that we wanted to do something different in Madrid and Spain that broke the barriers of Design”. Another great phrase that describes Moongata perfectly is something that José said “Many times the people who visit us say: oh what eclectic you are. Yes, Moongata is like a little sound that you do not expect, it’s another color … or a piece that breaks. And the truth is that they say: it is not classical music because I had never seen it, but neither you are pop, you are Jazz! You are Jazz!” – Alfredo & José

The best interior designers know how to show up their best sofa: José Usero and Alfredo Díaz at the mystic Moongata! In the warming ambiance featured by the sophisticated design furniture in the room, José and Alfredo revealed us their experience as interior designers and creative authors of the Moongata Showroom. One of the ”souls” in the room is definitely the COMO velvet modern sofa, that is one of the favorites pieces of the duo setting the design trends in the interior design world.
