When the Swedish company Spotify asked top designers TPG Architecture to design their New York’s office, we knew something amazing was about to be accomplished. With offices in Stockholm and London, Spotify is now the world’s largest music-streaming service with nearly 100 million users and a bit of Brabbu is there!

Brabbu’s Hermes Sofa at Spotify New York Office with Tom Dixon’s lighting fixtures

Spotify employees work in small groups that the company calls squads. Considering this dynamic, TPG crafted a strategy to create an open, flexible area at the center of the floor, which is ringed with offices that the squads share. Squad rooms have access to daylight, and each unit has its own open and closed conference rooms.

At Spotify’s office the interior architects design a cafe, a lounge, a library, a wellness rooms, and a development workshop from scratch.

Determined to give the workspace the character that is often missing from corporate interiors, Spotify and TPG Architecture sourced art and furniture as curated one-offs. The roster includes more than 100 manufacturers, where Brabbu was inclueded with the beautiful Hermes 2 seat sofa.

The interior architects gave a modern interior design style to the office, whithout losing the company’s profile.
