Beach house design at Martha’s Vineyard. Designed by Mark Cunningham, this family vacation home features a modern living room and sun room that are part of the master bedroom suite. The interior house design was decorated with pale blue cotton and sand-hued sisal rug, blue Lalique vases and Louise Nevelson work on paper. The lacquer coffee table, soft linen prints and white-washed wicker furniture captures the straightforward practicality of the Northeast coast,” says Cunningham.
San Francisco beach house designed by San Francisco-based designer Ken Fulk. The house was decorated with pale, lavender Venetian plaster walls in the master bedroom and handmade gold tiles shimmer, on the bathroom.
Florida Coastal Home by Kemble Interiors. In this house natural elements were used: in lieu of a baseboard, window casing, and crown molding, the interior designer used tiered pieces of tortoise-shelled bamboo to frame the space. “Bamboo is definitely a Florida style, and it’s also used a great deal in England,” says Kemble to Elle Decor.
Malibu coastal home. Living room interior design by Madeline Stuart, who created this residence in the spirit of a Provencal bastide. The doors, beams and floors are bleached oak and the walls are plastered with integral color.
