Channeling the wanderlust spirit of gypsy chef David Myers, Adrift is a bespoke urban enclave inspired by the places, faces and flavors of California and Asia. With a nostalgic spirit and modern architecture aesthetic, Adrift is an “eclectic chic” epicurean environment unlike anything Singapore has seen before.
Modern Interior design: the building unfolds from a wrapped wood-and-copper facade, with the glow from its dimly illuminated criss-cross relief playing off the atrium’s surrounding earth-toned marble tiling.
In addition to being one of the busiest ports and financial centers in the world, Singapore is known for its bustling Marina Bay Sands, an entertainment district that is home to the ArtScience Museum and the Marina Bay Sands resort, where new eatery Adrift is serving up artisanal cuisine with an East-meets-West appeal.
A modern take on the vibrant Izakaya, Adrift’s flavour-forward menu includes small plates, healthy salads, seafood, and meats grilled over bincho charcoal on a traditional robata grill. Enjoy dishes prepared using fresh Californian produce, with Asian inspiration. For a truly bespoke dining experience, opt for the Omakase dinner and let the Chef curate a meal with the best seasonal ingredients or enjoy a leisurely weekend brunch serving signature dishes and brunch favourites.
Restaurant interior. Modern interior design is felt all over the dining area.
The private dining room interior design features objets d’art, vintage photographs, and houses a surrealist library. “We wanted the bar to evoke a speakeasy feel with our choice of materials to construct an elegant, interesting form that was truly a stage for the art of the cocktail,” says Blueplate Studios’ Stephan Brutti.
