LWL – Museum for Art and Culture

For the LWL – Museum for Art and Culture, Licht Kunst Licht aim was to develop a lighting concept that measures up to the museum as a multifunctional building but also fulfills the elevated requirements of a display illumination in a contemporary museum’s operation.

ThyssenKrupp Quarter

Visual comfort was the major objective for the exterior lighting of the ThyssenKrupp Quarter in Essen. The Casino and the staff cafeteria feature custom-designed pendant luminaires which pick up the aspect of steel.

HSBC Casino project

With the HSBC Casino project, Licht Kunst Licht presents the achievement of human-centric illumination in a daylight-deprived space that respects and supports the occupant’s circadian rhythm.

Hotel & Spa Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine

Located in Sardón de Duero, the Hotel & Spa Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine received a new lighting concept based on a comprehensive family of custom-designed luminaires, made of massive bronze, produced by traditional bronze blacksmiths.

Novartis Campus – Krischanitz

For the Novartis Campus – Krischanitz laboratory building, the lighting designers were confronted with some conflicting requirements. While the laboratories had to fulfill predominantly technical needs and standard stipulations, the public spaces on the ground floor had to appear exquisite and sumptuous.

The State Parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg

In The State Parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the natural light is transported by an innovative daylighting system and brought into space via a translucent ceiling. Here, the lighting designers at Licht Kunst Licht developed an elegant solution that does not alter the external appearance of the structure characterized by glass and bronze, yet brings daylight even into its very core.

Domforum

The Licht Kunst Licht task for the Domforum was to introduce a lighting element that would fulfill both, the general illumination and accent lighting while responding to the existing structure of the space. For that reason, the Corian counter – the main space-defining design element – is strongly emphasized by the directional spotlights above.

EnBW-City

In the entry hall of the EnBW-City, the company created a luminous cloud above the reception desk together with water feature walls represent a lighting scheme that evokes an allegorical and sensual experience of energy.

Ständehaus

Built in 1836, this Neo-Renaissance building has a spacious foyer and offers space for receptions and exhibitions. It serves as a venue for conventions, conferences, and events, and for that reason, Licht Kunst Licht developed a unique sophisticated lighting concept.
