Influences of Eastern and European cultures are evident in this large residence that Suzanne Lovell Inc crafted for their well-travelled client. The studio warmed up this expansive volume by selecting a toned French limestone floor and rich walnut architectural elements.

This landmark residence in Chicago’s Lincoln Park was renovated to provide a serene, sophisticated backdrop for the client’s prized collection of Native American artefacts, Navajo textiles, vessels and photographs by Edward Curtis. This residence won the Illinois Landmark Preservation Award of Excellence.

Suzanne Lovell Inc was founded in 1985 with the goal of focusing on residential architecture and interior design, having since then created couture residences which reflect a masterful approach to architectural detailing.
The classically elegant Lake Shore Drive property was reinvigorated through the addition of cerused white oak millwork, darkening the wood floor and by adding a layer of subtle textures and patterns executed in bronze, plaster, stone, wallcoverings and fabrics.
This urban retreat features darkened white oak floors, high gloss black lacquer portals, and micro mosaic master and guest baths. This jewel box apartment is made for entertaining with an expandable yellow lacquered dining table, a fabulous wall sculpture by Astrid Krogh and sweeping Central Park views.
