Roar Design Studio is an award-winning interior design firm from Dubai. Previously known as Pallavi Dean Interiors, and rebranded in 2018 to Roar, this design studio has some renown projects such as the Delano Dubai hotel, Edelman offices in the United A. Emirates, and The Nursery of the Future for the U. Arabe Emirates Prime Miniter’s Office.
Roar aims to give people an amazing experience in the spaces they design. They are changing what it means to be an interior design firm, a better culture, a better philosophy and a better way of working.
The brief was to design and fit-out a three-bed show apartment for a luxury residential tower. Specifically, the developer wanted a striking, aspirational design that would lure potential buyers while browsing magazines and websites – and immerse them in a high-design, high-fashion lifestyle when they came to visit.
This is an elegant, contemporary loft close to Dubai’s landmark Burj Khalifa. Roar created a simple and minimal design language for this loft apartment in the heart of Dubai’s Downtown district. Simplicity and functionality are at the core of this design scheme, where the brief was to create a welcoming place where the family can come together.
There were twin design objectives for this luxury tower on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi. First, create a contemporary design language with elegant simplicity as a guiding principle throughout. Second, maximise the impact of floor-to-ceiling views of the sea and the horizon.
The brief was to create a family home in the heart of the capital, Kuwait City. The client is a well-travelled individual, and wanted to retain the traditional functions of a Kuwaiti home – such as a separate majlis area – but in a contemporary, international way.
The brief was to create a design that would appeal to people who appreciate high-design, high-fashion and high-quality in every aspect of their lives. While many of these people aspire to live on Palm Jumeirah, the existing stock of villas tends to be more traditional in design and finish.
Roar‘s designers work in shifts: some in the morning and some at night, so in this way, they are capable of offering their services to all clients around the world irregardless of time.
