On the first day of iSaloni 2019, the outcome is already fantastic. The Italian trade show keeps presenting us with some of the most interesting brands of the world of interior design, delighting everyone present.
Here are some of the highlights of the first day, in a week that promises to be unforgettable. Milan really is glowing.
BRABBU is a top design brand that reflects an intense way of living, bringing fierceness, strength and power into an urban lifestyle. With a diverse range of furniture, case goods, upholstery, lighting and rugs, and through sensory design, the brand passes on a unique experience in every piece they design and produce.
Essential Home is an innovative mid-century modern furniture brand that takes important historical and cinematographic references from the 1930s and 1960s and turn them into unique furnishing pieces. What started out in 2015 as ‘Essentials’, a furniture collection by the mid-century lighting brand DelightFULL, quickly grew to be one of the most elegant representations of mid-century modern design, thus creating a new name and a new brand, Essential Home.
Rug’Society is an exquisite Portuguese brand of Rugs and covering sellections, that mainly aims to transform rugs into pieces of art. Rug’Society appears with a strong connotation to the eclectic style, a brand that transmits emotions, and that is the starting point for every different design they conceive to stimulate and develop new trends.
Maison Valentina is a Portuguese brand, aiming to deliver the most exquisite and sophisticated bathroom furniture. They offer high-end solutions made with the finest material selection, combined with rare handwork techniques, contemporary design and assuring supreme quality. As a global brand, being present in design in the most important cities is inevitable.
Created in 1990, the cross-cultural product ranges offered by SILVERA are consciously created to make every type of project a reality and respond effectively to the needs and preferences of everyone, through attentive advice and guidance from the SILVERA LONDON and PARIS teams.
In 1947 Carlo Barassi, engineer of Pirelli, together with Renato Teani, in the financial dpt. ,Pio Reggiani and Aldo Bai, founded the company Ar-flex (flexible furniture), that became later arflex. They worked together with a young architect Marzo Zanuso and began to experiment the use of foam rubber and elastic tapes for the furniture market.
Wewood – Portuguese Joinery is a Portuguese brand founded in 2010, as a result of the Research and Development Office of Móveis Carlos Alfredo, a company specialized in manufacturing & exporting solid wood furniture since 1964. Their heritage is grounded in more than five decades of production. They hand made or hand finish all of their pieces, far away from the standardized large scale production.
