This Spring Edition of High Point Market has just closed doors and that means that it’s time to comment on all the Highlights out of the North Carolina’s trade show. Five incredible days of great interior design moments and with big names in this famous industry aren’t easy to place in few words. Still it is deserving to recognize the way this trade show impacts the North American world and draws in more than 75000 people twice a year!

• What were the best trends?

Known as the fashion week for home furnishings, High Point Market had some fantastic trends debuting all over Javits Convention Center. The Blue Color is still a big must all throughout the year and HPMKT wasn’t the exception. The Blue shade mixed with the whites and grays help create a playful and relaxed side appreciated in the design world.

Besides the blue color, the natural materials through the use of different textures and colors mixed in a home division transpire the comfort that these elements. The classic symmetry is still an absolute must and highly appreciated by designers all over the world. And we can never forget the value of the comfort factor on designs – especially the introduction of warm and natural finishes that turn a modern style into something more welcoming and laid-back.

• What were the best exhibitors?

The three following had much success throughout the course of the trade show, much do to the incredible designs that they chose to present on the North Carolina’s fair.

• What were the best events?

High Point Market is always the best place to enjoy some stunning new products, make new connections, get inspired and have a great time.

There were a few events just perfect for that and that guaranteed a good time of learning and free inspiration. 5 Color Mistakes You’re Making Right Now by Influential color specialist Maria Killam was one of the most awaited conferences of this Spring Edition. Another great event that had everyone on its toes was Hickory Chair Celebrates Its Last Season with Alexa Hampton a celebration of the Hampton dynasty.

• What had the biggest attention?

BRABBU’s DUKONO | ARMCHAIR was a showstopper on its own and turned a lot of heads at the InterHall Booth 112! With a modern shape and strong figure, its easy to understand why everyone was enchanted by this fine piece of design.
