With one month of summer left – give or take a few days – we browse through the best interior design magazines to find out what is the plan for this Fall, according to their design agendas. Apart from Maison & Objet, which starts next month already – and where BRABBU will be present – we’re adding the must-go to interior design events of the 2016 fall-season to our personal planners, whether they take place in Paris or in Dubai.

According to Interni‘s design agenda, these are some of the events that will make the heads of interior designers, decorators and architects turn this season.

DOWNTOWN DESIGN

Already in the fourth edition, Downtown Design happens between the 25th and the 28th of October as a key element of Dubai Design Week. Presenting designs and emerging brands from all over the world, Dubai will be the main stage for furniture, lighting, bathrooms, kitchens, textiles and accessories-related creations, where design lovers and brands can truly connect and mingle.

EQUIPHOTEL

Happening from the 6th until the 10th of November, EQUIPHOTEL is made for professionals in the hospitality business, helping them analyze, innovate and discover new trends. It’s a full-on, Parisian celebration of interior design, archictecture and decoration with over 1,600 exhibitions.

Interior Design, however, points us into other directions:

DECOREX INTERNATIONAL

From the 18th until the 21st of September, this year’s Decorex will dig deep into the true roots of design, having established partnerships with some of the biggest names in the industry. This year’s Decorex promises to explore this theme through a series of installations and seminars.

Decorex will be one of the first stops of London Design Festival.

ICFF

Determined in showing contemporary art in all angles, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair will happen between the October 5th and 6th, in Miami Beach. Made for all kinds of publics and interests, ICFF promises to search deeply for the truth about design, with two days full of fun, out-of-the-box activities.

From the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, directly from Brazil, Revista Decor gives us some European selections for essential interior design events happening later this year.

AUTUMN FAIR

Launched in September 1990, UK‘s Autumn Fair is destined not only for local players, but also for international buyers and those who love and cherish design as much as the next person. With more than 27,000 visitors and countless sectors, Autumn Fair happens between the 4th and the 7th of September, taking place in Birmingham. Make sure to get your ticket as soon as possible.

SPOGA+GAFA

Let’s imagine for a second what a world without gardens and green spaces would be like. Terrible, right? Over at spoga+gafa, they know this already. Located in Cologne, Germany, the expo will take place between the 2nd and the 6th of September, showcasing small, medium-sized and big brands who devote their design expertise into gardens and garden furniture.

MTM INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR

Making their way into their 43rd edition already, MTM International Furniture Fair is one of the most important fairs and expos in Europe, taking place in the city of Ostróda, Poland. MTM plays a big part in business deals between Polish furniture-makers and Polish furniture-seekers, always displaying both sides of the coin and excelent design-making.
