5 Reasons To Attend Superyacht at London Design Week

Superyacht 2016 will, once again, be hosted at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, from the 28th to the 29th of June. The international design and decoration event is part of London Design Week and it it is a platform for specifiers and advisors to wander its unique domes, visiting the stunning showrooms, selecting and exploring trends and concepts that can inspire the world’s ultra wealthy clientele and deliver to them the ultimate in luxury and comfort.

There are many reasons to attend Superyacht in London, and here at Brabbu we give the most important 5.

#1. Ian Briggs of BAC Mono is the opening keynote of Superyacht 2016. The presentation will look at the inspirations, processes and developments behind the machine. The BAC Mono will be on display in the Chelsea Design Centre Domes during the design event, to offer guests the chance to explore and experience the unique vehicle.

#2. General Arrangement Initiative. At Superyacht London Design Week visitors are invited to pinpoint the design areas that need to be rethinked, through a bid to create a heat map of a yacht. Here, visitors define the strengths and weaknesses of each area, to get to the conclusion of the areas that are essential to a yacht’s GA and need fresh thinking and to be highlighted.

#3. Showcase Quiz. Do not miss the Sparkling Showcase Reception on Tuesday evening, where visitors have the opportunity to take part in the Showcase Quiz, through the event app, and see how much you know about the world of product design, as well as the latest technology available to superyachts. A bit of fun in the middle of the design events presented.

#4. At Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, it will be showcased the wide range of options available on the market to source materials, furniture and products. With renders of interiors from select design studios, showrooms will have the opportunity to suggest samples to match the Designer MoodBoards. #5. The Student Showcase. At Chelsea Design Center, students have the opportunity to showcase their farfetched ideas and projects, so do not miss this event and see the next generation of great designers.
