An Italian architect and designer, born in Turin and founder of the international design and innovation firm Carlo Ratti Associati, based in Turin and with branches in New York City and London. Professor at MIT in Boston, Carlo Ratti is one of the most famously known Italian designers and architects in the world, especially in America: Wired has put him on the list of the 50 people who are going to change the world, while Fast Company has named him among the 50 most influential designers in America.
