The Hardangerjøkulen glacier near the town of Finse, Norway, was the setting of the icy Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back, which infamously introduced the Empire’s All Terrain Armored Transport vehicles, better known as AT-ATs or Imperial walkers.
