The Rooftopn at the Refinery Hotel, New York

For the first time since it opened in 2013, this popular rooftop venue is installing a tent and heaters on its outdoor terrace to maximize cold-weather lounging options. The new winterized area joins the existing indoor bar, which is protected by a retractable glass roof and features beamed ceilings and a fireplace.
