The Johnson Studio<\/em><\/span><\/strong> was tasked to relocate and re-design the experience of a Cigar Club at the Ritz-Carleton, in St. Louis. With the intention of hosting more than 300 members, the re-imagination of this space focused on creating a speakeasy concept with a nod to the Roaring 1920s: one that celebrates the love of cigars. <\/strong>With its intense way of living, BRABBU<\/a> stated its presence in this unique design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design\u2019s focal point is a dramatically illuminated bar located in the centre of the area, with card tables separating the lounge from the back room. The bar has back-lit brass and glass bar shelving, burl wood and brass bar die, and an Asian statuary marble bar top. Behind the bar are sliding glass and wood doors that may be closed off to create a private and exclusive area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
