1- Costa Restaurant<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The design for Costa Restaurant at the Mar Monte Hotel is inspired by Italy\u2019s Amalfi Coast, home of the world\u2019s best limoncello. It delivers a flavor of the Mediterranean to the California coast. The rustic atmosphere of the intimate dining area is balanced by playful scalloped bespoke yellow chairs and lemon-patterned walls. Natural textures and oceanic blue tones punctuate the bar-lounge space, infusing it with an upscale \u201ccool\u201d that matches the Pacific vistas from its patio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2- Hotel Citrine <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

From the recycled vinyl wallpaper and paper stone countertops to the ethically obtained wood fittings, eucalyptus sheets, and cork and bamboo flooring, eco and socially conscientious decisions were made throughout the design process. Shared pantries on each floor also aid in waste reduction while fostering a convivial culture among guests. This is the coolest California casual I\u2019ve ever seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3- Hotel Monaco<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A colourful treasure in the heart of Steel City, the goal was to design interiors that reflected Monaco\u2019s fun character while remaining true to the building\u2019s Beaux-Arts facade from 1902. (formerly home to Reed Smith law firm and the Duquesne Light Company). The solution: use strong colours, textures, and artwork to bring the region\u2019s rich history to life, transforming the hotel into the city\u2019s own statement piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4- JW Marriott<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The JW Marriott brand promise is \u201cquiet luxury, tailored experiences, and intuitive service,\u201d thus we created the entire JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek hotel with it in mind. Fine gold and silver finishes \u2014 as well as wonderfully lighted geological textures \u2014 accent the open, airy areas, paying homage to Denver\u2019s mining sector. The colours of Colorado\u2019s culture, from its official gemstone and mineral to its state flower, are delicately inspired by crafted experiences. Every guest room provides intuitive service with thoughtful touches such as a ledge in the entry foyer for keys, wallets, and other valuables, putting guests\u2019 needs first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5- Mar Monte Hotel<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This iconic seaside hotel first opened to great fanfare in 1931 but has since lost much of its charm. We were able to bring the hotel\u2019s original Spanish Colonial architecture together with the numerous various styles it had gained over the years by focusing on the details, giving it back its character, charm, and relevance. The grand staircase, refurbished porte coch\u00e8re, and baths, as well as traces of Spanish Revival and Moorish influence throughout the guest rooms, continue to impress today\u2019s visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6- Nick + Stef\u2019s<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant\u2019s original angles and folds were the keys to success, which we utilized as inspiration for fun new wall coverings, patterned carpets, and beautiful lighting. To offer balance and privacy while reflecting light in intriguing ways, strong geometric metal and ribbed glass walls were used. What\u2019s the show-stopper? An enticing bar that has been re-imagined and re-opened to create the open, free-flowing atmosphere that is \u201cso L.A.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7- The Darcy Hotel<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The 226-room Darcy hotel, located in the heart of Washington, D.C., just minutes from The White House, gives Rhode Island Avenue a taste of la vie en rose. When guests check in, they\u2019ll see a gold sculpture of Washington, D.C.\u2019s official flower, the American Beauty rose, by artist Kirk Maxson behind the reception counter. Much of the hotel\u2019s d\u00e9cor, including the carved wooden archways and hand-tufted area rugs in some of the guest rooms, is inspired by the rose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8- The Gray Hotel<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Gray Hotel, named for its original Georgia Gray marble, is a Kimpton award-winning hotel that combines contemporary luxury with historic charm. We used delicate suit materials, velvet, and lace to balance the cold, hard interiors with softness and refinement, inspired by the perfectly fitted suits of London\u2019s Savile Row. Throughout the hotel\u2019s 293 rooms, shades of blue and beams of light whisper serenity, while meticulously curated artwork punctuates the walls with subtle, historically-sound comedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
