The typical characteristics are mainly structural elements (concrete and beams) are often left exposed; emphasis on horizontal and vertical lines with fewer curves; lack of fluff; low, horizontal furnishings with clean lines; the celebration of natural light unadorned windows; natural materials such as unpainted wood, metals, leather and natural fibres; neutral\/natural colour palette; reflective surfaces such as steel, chrome or glass and natural woods and wood veneers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
