Design Events <\/em><\/span><\/strong>have been celebrated a little bit different these last years due to the pandemic situation. All of us had to adapt to a new way of communicating and interacting, with many design fairs<\/a><\/strong>, events<\/a><\/strong> and awards happening online. There was a new dawn on the age of technology, and now that things are slowly, but steadily, getting back to normal, these amazing design events are back again! Today we gather a few events covering France<\/strong>, Italy <\/strong>and the United Kingdom<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design Events
France<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Starting with the country that is going to host two events, France <\/strong>is preparing Paris <\/a><\/strong>to welcome interior designers, architects, and even design lovers for Paris Design Week<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 happening from Sep. 9 till the 18th and Maison&Objet<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 starting also in the 9th and ending on the 13th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To prepare for September\u2019s <\/a><\/strong>edition, the organization decided to conduct a survey in the industry of design<\/a><\/strong>, including brands<\/a><\/strong>, buyers and retailers. The interiors sector would consequently appear to be faring rather well, and although the pandemic has unquestionably had an impact, the vast majority of those surveyed say it has served as a catalyst for development or that they have found ways of coping to ensure their business survives. This September <\/a>Maison&Objet <\/a><\/strong>will launch a brand-new service <\/a><\/strong>that allows its whole network to benefit from a dynamic range of training and education opportunities: The Maison&Objet Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2021 Edition of the Paris Design Week<\/strong> will cover over 200 addresses and events, with the M&O<\/a><\/strong> being one of them. Rising talents and iconic brands, young graduates and museum institutions, freshly launched design houses, artisans and designer-makers with inspired and inspiring hands will all flock to Paris to invent and showcase their vision of a desirable lifestyle. A lifestyle that is in harmony with nature, that leverages technology to bring people together \u2013 sometimes virtually \u2013 whilst drawing on traditional expertise that is handed down from generation to generation, bearing witness to the passing of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design Events
Italy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Italy<\/strong>, we find the famous Salone del Mobile,<\/strong> or iSaloni<\/strong>, happening in Milan<\/strong>, from September 5h till the 10th, and the CERSAEI <\/strong>happening in Bologna <\/strong>from September 27th until the 1st of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria Porro<\/strong>, President of the Salone del Mobile Milano<\/a><\/strong>, is dubbing this edition as \u2018supersalone<\/em>\u2018 for she really believes that it is crucial to go back to meeting face-to-face, conduct relationships and see for ourselves the products that companies have continuing to create. 423 brands will be present in four pavilions, with a firm belief that the \u2018supersalone\u2019<\/em> will become a symbol of a new Renaissance. The stars of the show will be increasingly innovative products, capable of fully responding to the changes inherent in the contemporary social structure, and their knock-on effects on a rapidly changing furnishing market and the individual needs of each client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

27th September \u2013 1st October<\/strong>\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For its 9th edition, the\u00a0\u2018Citt\u00e0 della Posa<\/a>\u2018<\/strong>\u00a0reserves for its visitors, for each of the five days of Cersaie<\/strong><\/a>, installation demonstrations, through its master tilers, relating to the outdoor world and environments created with large ceramic slabs. This year the\u00a0technical seminars<\/a><\/strong>, aimed at architects and designers, will take place in a permanent dedicated area and will be structured in two hours in the classroom and two hours of practical exercises in the installation laboratory.\u00a0They will be present and remotely, with the webinar mode, guaranteeing participants \u2013 architects, engineers and surveyors \u2013 professional training credits.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design Events
United Kingdom<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Decorex <\/strong>is the European leading high-end residential interior design show, happening from October 10th till the 13th. Decorex\u00a0<\/strong>was established in 1978 as a setting for high-end interior design professionals to meet and do business.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10th \u2013 13th October<\/strong>\n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Decorex<\/a><\/strong>\u202fis the avenue for discovery; a place to meet emerging and established interior design brands and discover unique products for your upcoming projects. The organisers are delighted to be returning to Olympia London from 10-13 October for a celebration of design like never before. Daniel Hopwood, the founder, says that \u2018Decorex <\/strong><\/a>is an essential tool for an interior designer to discover the latest of everything as well as the perfect opportunity to catch up with others in the industry<\/em>.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
