4. Tribeca Residence<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Like a grand cruise ship sailing down the Hudson River just outside, this 5,800 sq. ft. apartment by Drake\/Anderson<\/strong> is bright, light and filled with fresh air. The intimate foyer sets the tone, with its textural mix in shades of white: dimensional plaster walls, a parchment-wrapped console, and a mirror framed in eggshell inlay, the pieces accented with ebonized and satin brass accents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The razzle-dazzle pattern of the foyer\u2019s wallpaper was a play on the architecture of the great Art Deco building this unit is in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. ONE57 Apartment<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The foyer celebrates the high floor the apartment sits on, between the ground and heaven. The walls were painted sky blue and finished with a topcoat of starry mica dust. Circular motifs abound, celestial in nature, including the center table, rug, and chandelier hung from a glossy cloud white orb on the ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"Ebook<\/a>\n\n\n\n

9. West Chelsea Residence<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When a designer gets to do their own residence, it\u2019s an opportunity to indulge their vision fully. For Jamie, this is his home. A structural column in the middle posed a challenge, but instead of trying to make it disappear, Drake\/Andreson<\/strong> celebrated it and made it even larger. Clad in a variety of materials \u2013 ebonized oak, charcoal lacquer, dark bronze and woven brass and steel \u2013 all come together to add richness and interest to this focal point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
