The house enjoys exquisite views of the Coral Sea<\/strong> through the native hoop pines<\/strong>, as well as abundant plant life at its doors \u2013 as an interior designer establishing a connection to those elements was central to the concept. Their love for the art-deco<\/strong> inspires contemporary residence<\/strong> to lead the studio to collaborate on a fresh take on this popular property \u2013 this time riffing on a palette of blush pink<\/strong>, grey and light timber floors. Furnished with a mix of Minotti and European vintage pieces<\/strong>, the four-bedroom home is adorned with Greg Natale<\/em> decorative accessories in marble, ceramic and the warmth of polished brass. The custom spiral grey terrazzo stair features brass inlay with a limited edition piece from sculptor Dan Murphy taking pride of place at the foot of the stair. Contrasting this are white ceilings, cornices and skirting boards and black-stained oak floors, for a crisp, tailored look, between which different plays on pattern take place, highlighted by metallic accents. First impressions are all-important, and Greg Natale<\/em> has ensured that arriving at the Sebel Kirkton is an experience to be savoured. A grand, open entry hall, a guest-friendly reception with double seated check-in desks, and a light-filled atrium with a custom-built circular bench all bring a sense of luxury <\/strong>and occasion, while smaller seating areas lend intimate touches<\/strong>. It is not only the hotel\u2019s design that reveals Natale\u2019s vision but much of its d\u00e9cor as well. The entry hall, reception and atrium are all magnificently hued in Atlantic Pearl, a sophisticated blue that pops through the entire hotel and is complemented by a monochrome palette<\/strong> as well as gilt and brass finishes. The design is a study in balance <\/strong>and contrast <\/strong>of textures, hues and shapes.
