Tom Scheerer Inc<\/em><\/span><\/strong> was founded in 1995, Manhattan \u2013 New York City \u2013 as an architectural and interior design practising firm. Tom Scheerer<\/strong>\u2018s work is famous for having clear and logical architectural solutions harmonised with beautiful, elegant and comfortable furnishings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom Scheerer Inc<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Tom Scheerer<\/strong> gives great emphasis on furniture planning and spatial relationship, as well as the harmony between colour and texture, taking a keen appreciation for art. Albeit not having any issue with any style, Tom Scheerer<\/strong> prefers to use all aspects of interior design within the context of what he calls to be \u2018relaxed modernism<\/strong>\u2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom Scheerer<\/strong> graduated from The Cooper Union<\/strong> with a degree in architecture in 1985 and formed a design partnership with Jeffrey Bilhuber<\/strong>; the interiors designed by these two incredible interior designers quickly came to fame by being published in The New York Times Magazine<\/strong>, New York<\/strong>, House Beautiful, House & Garden<\/strong>, Town & Country<\/strong> and other national publications. In 1995, as mentioned earlier, Tom Scheerer<\/strong> formed his own company and his works included recently completed projects in New York<\/strong>, East Hampton<\/strong>, Nantucket <\/strong>and the Bahamas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom Scheerer Inc \u2013 Projects<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, Tom Scheerer<\/strong> created several homes on Harbour Island in the Bahamas. His historically accurate restorations have preserved two neglected 18th-century coral stone houses. Other island projects include a colonial-style hilltop home and the renovation of a large 1950\u2019s villa in a colonial-style consonant with Harbour Island\u2019s <\/strong>character.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
