For the Novartis Campus \u2013 Krischanitz laboratory building, the lighting designers were confronted with some conflicting requirements. While the laboratories had to fulfill predominantly technical needs and standard stipulations, the public spaces on the ground floor had to appear exquisite and sumptuous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In The State Parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the natural light is transported by an innovative daylighting system and brought into space via a translucent ceiling. Here, the lighting designers<\/strong> at Licht Kunst Licht<\/strong> developed an elegant<\/strong> solution that does not alter the external appearance of the structure characterized by glass and bronze, yet brings daylight even into its very core. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For that reason, the Corian counter \u2013 the main space-defining design element \u2013 is strongly emphasized by the directional spotlights above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
