DKOR Interiors<\/strong> design intent was to balance impactful design elements, like structural updates and contrasting materials or colours, with pure design elements, like harmonious fabrics and proportional design. The interior design in this Coral Gables home needed to project balance to give the young family the peaceful, relaxing home they deserve. Inspired by the Florida landscape, a variety of taupes and ocean-inspired blues to adorn the home, while warm natural materials contrast crisp white walls throughout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this project in a luxury waterfront penthouse in Fort Lauderdale\u2019s Landings in Las Olas, DKOR Interiors <\/strong>was inspired by their clients\u2019 collection of pre-Columbian artefacts and their desire to remodel their home. The concept of old-world elements breaking through new-world components worked perfectly for them. The firm combined contemporary details\u2014clean lines and crisp white walls\u2014with traditional elements\u2014wing back chairs and tufted upholstery\u2014to create their clients\u2019 dream home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
