Melissa and Miller Interiors <\/em><\/span><\/strong>designed a sophisticated house in central London<\/span> inspired by the Hamptons Beach Houses<\/span>: the designers used the warmth, colours and comfort<\/span>, often founded in these houses, as the main inspiration for this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than enforcing a generic \u201chouse style,\u201d Melissa and Miller<\/strong> see each client as an opportunity to start the designs from scratch. By reviewing the clients\u2019 lifestyle, budget and design sensibility, they create a truly individual look and feel for each client. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it is no wonder that Melissa and Miller Interiors<\/strong> were approached to design this house in central London. The designers were very mindful of the local urban environment and the need to elevate the look to match the sophistication of the clients, combining the ease and relaxed-vibe found in the Hamptons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clients, along with their two children, love to have an open house for their friends and family; entertaining is at the forefront of their minds. So, the designers took the lead from them by creating an open-plan kitchen and a family room space. Even the home\u2019s entrance is vast and open \u2013 large enough for a party, yet intimate enough for just the clients to enjoy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As told by Melissa and Miller<\/strong>, N\u00ba20 Armchairs <\/a><\/strong>were a perfect complement to the relaxed, bespoke sofas. The strength and grounding the chairs offer the room, combined with the femininity and subtlety of its open arms, provided a grandness yet ease to the living room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
