Arthur Dunnam<\/em><\/span><\/strong> for Jed Johnson Studio <\/strong>was established by the end of 2016, in order to continue the work of Jed Johnson Associates,<\/strong> which Arthur Dunnam<\/strong> has served as Design Director for the last two decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arthur Dunnam<\/strong> attended the Graduate Interior Design<\/span> program at Pratt Institute<\/span> and was astonishingly fortunate to concurrently apprentice at the firm started by Billy Baldwin.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jed Johnson <\/strong>made a name for himself after decorating the interiors of Andy Warhol\u2019s townhouse to incorporate Andy Dunnam<\/strong>\u2018s immensely diverse collection of decorative and fine art. His reputation expanded after completing the New York <\/span>residences of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following suit, they had clients like Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall<\/span><\/strong> as well as the collectors Peter and Sandy Brant,<\/span><\/strong> and Jed Johnson<\/strong>\u2018s firm was growing and providing the perfect next step in Arthur Dunnam<\/strong>\u2018s career path. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \"BB_Book2020\"<\/a>\n\n\n\n

For ten years Arthur Dunnam<\/strong> worked alongside Jed Johnson<\/strong>, whose generosity of spirit permitted Arthur <\/strong>to grow as a designer and project manager and to develop close relationships with their clients. Those client relationships played an immeasurable part in the success of the firm after Jed\u2019s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jed Johnson Associates<\/strong>, with Arthur Dunnam <\/strong>as Design Director, was able to continue to do projects of the calibre for which it became known: luxurious, unexpected and appropriate, finely attuned to the lifestyle of the client, the architectural integrity of the residence, and reflective of its setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arthur Dunnam for Jed Johnson<\/strong> design process goes through several stages: from space planning to interior detailing, fixtures and fittings, lighting design and layout, coordination, consulting, selection, design, procurement and finally installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These steps should be a pleasurable experience from beginning to the end. The studio\u2019s goal is to understand the clients\u2019 needs and to create with each client a unique residence that delivers beyond expectations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
