In its 18th year, AD Show 2019<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0draws approximately 40000 design lovers to interact with the more than 400 brands and their remarkable design displays. Of course, the Architectural Digest Design Show<\/strong> is more than just about exhibitors and sets up its own apartment every year. With different designers taking on the challenge of designing the AD Apartment<\/strong><\/span><\/em>, every year there\u2019s a lot of excitment and expectation when it comes to this particular event setup.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to create a space that embodied an \u2018uptown girl living in a downtown world\u2019 spirit! It represents the dichotomy between a woman who loves antiques and appreciates the finer things yet is still edgy and modern.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year the iconic AD Apartment<\/strong><\/span> is designed by Sasha Bikoff \u2013 one of Architectural Digest\u2019s new creatives who reimagined the space in her signature whimsical world.<\/p>\n

In 2018, the AD Apartment<\/strong> was designed by New York Interior Design Firm<\/strong> and AD100 Designers<\/strong>, Drake\/Anderson<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>and it was a huge success! An anthem to a modern apartment with a clever design that is all about\u00a0smart, stylish design ideas and solutions for real life. The Drake\/Anderson apartment<\/strong> was studded with bold color, rich textures, and reflective surfaces, being a space that is a design enthusiast\u2019s dream!<\/p>\n
