The eighth annual Paris Design Week<\/strong><\/em><\/a> will take place from Thursday 6 to Saturday 15 September 2018.<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0For ten days, the event invites French and international professionals and the general public to discover the best showcases of design in Paris<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Late-night openings, debates, and installations bring the city to life, echoing the new releases for autumn and kicking off the pre-holiday sales period. This latest edition intends to forge even stronger and broader ties between those involved in the Parisian design, but also to strengthen the event\u2019s technical dimension with the creation of the Projects special itinerary.<\/p>\n\n \"BB_Book2020\"<\/a>\n

When talking about color, Atelier M\u00e9riguet-Carr\u00e8re truly has a special place.<\/p>\n

Labelled Enterprise du Patrimoine Vivant<\/strong> by the French Ministry for the Economy, the brand has delved into its archives and pulled out a palette of 144 colors. Harmonious shades, high-quality paints, and so on.<\/p>\n

Architects and individual home-owners will find subtle nuances and signature hues hidden behind names like Blanc de Meudon<\/strong>, Alumine<\/strong> and Parchemin<\/strong>. Presented for the very first time in the atelier at 140 Boulevard Saint-Germain, where visitors will appreciate the intense matt aspect and depth of the colors, M\u00e9riguet-Carr\u00e8re\u2019s<\/strong> color harmonies were elaborated for high-end interiors and the high-profile designers who imagine them.<\/p>\n

The White House<\/strong>, the \u00c9lys\u00e9e, the Villa Cavrois in Lille and other ambitious projects for renovating heritage and contemporary interiors all drew inspiration from the brand\u2019s palettes. Behind this expertise, more than 100 artisans and two very demanding owners: Antoine Courtois<\/strong> and Laurent Gosseaume<\/strong>, who catapulted the little-known atelier into the digital age.<\/p>\n

Those who like blue and more specifically RAL 5013 will need to take advantage of Paris Design Week<\/strong><\/em><\/a> to visit the Tarkett<\/strong> showroom in Rue Saintonge, which will be exceptionally open to the public. Tarkett launches a collection of decorative vinyl planks and tiles printed with faux wood, stone or even graphical \u201ctattoo\u201d motifs.<\/p>\n
