Reserve @ Opus One is champagne bar at the multi-award winning Radisson Blu Edwardian, Free Trade Hall Manchester hotel. The elegant space became a favourite destination of the city\u2019s social set.\u00a0\u00a0Micheal Attenborough, head of design said \u201cWe both wanted to make the space feel more inclusive and inviting from the outside (\u2026) we feel the space is a great addition to an already fabulous hotel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dirty Martini, Bishopsgate<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following the success of its sister cocktail bars in London\u2019s Covent Garden and Hanover Square, the stylish new Dirty Martini in Bishopsgate is located within walking distance of both the Liverpool Street and Old Street tube stations. The design consultancy Grapes Design wanted to bring the best elements of the brand\u2019s professional, yet accessible cocktail bars to the Bishopsgate venue, with formidable graphic elements, stylish furniture in mauve and turquoise accents that punctuates the space, with a blend of elegant club chairs and high-back parlour loungers.<\/p>\n

Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Radisson Blu\u00a0Hotel offers a luxurious and artfully modernised interior, with the addition of its Sky Lounge \u2013 a glass-encased rooftop facility with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, exclusively reserved for business class and suite guests. The guests\u00a0choice between three decors that are available: Naturally Cool, a modern design comprising a soft blue and neutral colour palette; And Relax, a calming and soothing environment using carved wooden accents; or NY\u2008Mansion House, based on a traditional but sophisticated uptown mansion house.<\/p>\n

Girasol, Studio City, California<\/strong><\/p>\n

This restaurant in Studio City, Los Angeles called Girasol \u2013 Spanish for flower \u2013 was designed to appeal to a very demanding and\u00a0 style-conscious local clientele.\u00a0\u201cThe grey, natural stone walls have a wave of darker stone resembling large leaves, as do the white plaster walls, and intertwining vines of a flower are embossed into the concrete floor at the entry foyer. The furniture is made from wood and soft linens and the table tops have an inlaid metal sunflower in the walnut wood tops, while the table bases resemble a root of an organic structure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manchester House, Spinningfields<\/strong><\/p>\n

Located in Spinningfields\u2019 Tower 12 development, Manchester House\u00a0has a great contrast, having a non-descript tower block office block with such an opulent and distinctive interior. The casualisation of fine dining is brilliant for getting designers\u2019 creative juices flowing.<\/p>\n

Belmond Eagle Island Lodge, Botswana<\/strong><\/p>\n

Belmond Eagle Island Lodge in Botswana,\u00a0on a private island, is surrounded by some of the deepest stretches of the delta, with\u00a012 luxury tented guest rooms, each with a large terrace and plunge pool. \u00a0\u201cOur wish has been to give guests an insight into the soul of the delta that they can marvel at while they are there and take away with them when they leave,\u201d says Inge Moore, principal and creative director of The Gallery HBA.\u00a0\u201cBy using local artisans and materials, reinventing traditional safari camp paraphernalia and translating the natural world into the interiors, the design is crafted to fill the hearts and minds of both safari camp connoisseurs and newcomers alike.\u201d<\/p>\n
