Idol Hotel is a joyful hymn to Black Music from the 60\u2019s to the 80\u2019s!\u00a0Located on rue d\u2019Edimbourg, near the Grands Magasins district, just a step away\u00a0from the Opera Garnier, one of the best hotels<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>in Paris, but certainly the grooviest hotel of the city, celebrates this historically music-oriented neighborhood with Brabbu<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s sister brand Delightfull<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Glamorous and fresh, the hotel interior design\u00a0gives in to playfulness and sensuality. All elements are textured (velvet, vinyl\u2026) and they arise a desire to touch everything, to caress the walls and furniture.\u00a0The decoration designed by Julie Gauthron is melodious.<\/p>\n

In the \u201cmusical\u201d lobby, above the piles of vinyl records, the collection of sculptural \u2018Botti\u2018 ceiling lights by DelightFULL<\/strong><\/a>, made of gold-coated brass, gives the trumpet, the trombone, and the organ a new function and announces the score about to be played in the hotel.<\/p>\n

A bright neon light sculpted by artist Julie Gauthron and entitled \u201cThe Sound of the Trumpet\u201d illuminates the lounge area.<\/p>\n

In the corridors, you can also admire the magnificent Coltrane wall lights<\/a> in the shape of a trumpet handle, also designed by DelightFULL.<\/p>\n

With a theme behind its 32 rooms and suites, the hotel presents a variety of inspirational options adorned like the colorful album covers of famous labels Stax Records or Motown. And along with that inspiration and to give something more to their clients, all the rooms feature spherical speakers that can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.<\/p>\n

The industrial design project was illuminated with Simone wall lamps<\/a> on the hotel orange bedroom. The mid century modern lamps can also be found in other rooms.<\/p>\n
