The colors of the upholstered furniture look back to the fashion trends of those years, even\u00a0if being revisited according to a contemporary point of view. Bordeaux, rust,\u00a0moss-green, cement-grey and blue-navy are the nuances that characterize both\u00a0the soft and the polished saddle leathers showed at Salone del Mobile 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, the real innovation for Baxter is introducing its first complete project\u00a0for \u201coutdoor\u201d. Wooden design furniture<\/strong> like chairs, armchairs<\/a><\/strong> and accessories are made in tubular copper\u00a0matched with particular kinds of saddle leather thought specifically to be used on\u00a0the outside. The outdoor is enriched also thanks to a special minimal collection\u00a0made in iron and leathers with natural color shades like grey, forest-green and\u00a0cognac. There are also details made with aluminium mixed with resin and concrete\u00a0and products made with rattan. The idea is trying to create unique products that\u00a0will change over time, conveying the idea of something fully lived that only nobles\u00a0materials can give.<\/p>\n

The most important innovations for Milan design week<\/strong> are given birth thanks to the constant\u00a0experimentation to which Baxter dedicates itself in the world of saddle leathers,\u00a0with passion and all its savoir-faire. The new leathers for outdoor are thus divided\u00a0into hydro-repellent saddle leathers, on which water can easily glide, and softer\u00a0non-finished leathers, whose fibres water can go through without damaging them.<\/p>\n

Another important innovation is the work done on the upholstered design furniture<\/strong>,\u00a0particularly on the modular products. Here\u2019s how, starting from a research of the\u00a0typical atmospheres of the 70s, a contemporary project can take place, where\u00a0leathers and other materials like stone and marble are matched together. Unique\u00a0pieces that come from selected mines all over the world, specially finished in order\u00a0to give elegance and sophistication to the material without losing its blemishes,\u00a0which are the symbol of the naturalness of that material itself.<\/p>\n

All the new projects have been entrusted to the many designers that have been\u00a0co-working with Baxter since long: Paola Navone, Draga Obradovic and Aurel\u00a0K. Basedow, Roberto Lazzeroni<\/strong>, Antonino Sciortino, Pietro Russo and Baxter\u2019s\u00a0Style Department.<\/p>\n
