On the 28th of February the 88th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center. This year Academy Award for\u00a0Best Actor<\/strong> went to Leonardo Dicaprio<\/strong><\/em> with The Revenant <\/strong>movie.<\/p>\n

Leonardo Dicaprio<\/strong> was nominated 5 times to the oscar of Best Actor, and finally in 2016 he wins the Academy Award for Best Actor<\/em> with is role in the The Revenant<\/em> movie. His acceptance speach was also a remarkable one, leading political charges:\u00a0\u201cMaking The Revenant was about man\u2019s relationship to the natural world. A world that we collectively felt in 2015 as the hottest year in recorded history. Our production needed to move to the southern tip of this planet just to be able to find snow.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Revenant, 2015, was directed by Alejandro Gonz\u00e1lez I\u00f1\u00e1rritu, who also won the Oscar for the Best Director. We can say that The Revenant movie\u00a0won the Oscars 2016 <\/strong>with 3 statuettes:\u00a0<\/strong>Academy Award for Best Actor, Best Director and Best\u00a0Cinematography.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Revenant,2015, is a story about a frontiersman, Hugh Glass, who is badly mauled by a grizzly and abandoned by his fellow trappers. Barely surviving his wounds, Glass is driven by thoughts of his family and a desire for revenge as he endures the frigid winter and pursues the men who left him for dead.<\/p>\n
