Just in time,\u00a0Bergdorf Goodman<\/a>\u00a0has revealed its\u00a0newest Halloween<\/a><\/strong> windows which were\u00a0created in collaboration with\u00a0Guillermo del Toro\u2019s haunting\u00a0film\u00a0Crimson Peak<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Chic<\/p>\n

Each window was inspired by a moment in the horror movie, which takes\u00a0place in an ornate but crumbling haunted mansion. And to top it off, the ghostly mannequins are all dressed in designer clothes.\u00a0The\u00a0horror film\u00a0opens in October 16th,\u00a0and if it looks anything like the windows\u00a0we can\u2019t wait to see it.<\/p>\n

During the promotional\u00a0campaign for Crimson Peak, director Guillermo del Toro has been adamant that his new film isn\u2019t a horror movie. Rather, it\u2019s a gothic romance. With ghosts. And blood.<\/p>\n

It may sound like the director doth protest too much, but he\u2019s not wrong; if anything, there are more laughs in Crimson Peak than there are scares.<\/p>\n

Movie\u2019s synopsis: when her heart is stolen by a seductive stranger, a young woman is swept away to a house atop a mountain of blood-red clay\u2014a place filled with secrets that will haunt her forever. Guillermo del Toro<\/em> was born October 9, 1964 in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico. Raised by his Catholic grandmother, del Toro developed an interest in filmmaking in his early teens. Later, he learned about makeup and effects from the legendary Dick Smith (O Exorcista (1973)) and worked on making his own short films.<\/p>\n

Bergdorf Goodman is a luxury goods department store based on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. The company was founded in 1899 by Herman Bergdorf and was later owned and managed by Edwin Goodman, and later his son Andrew Goodman.<\/p>\n
