Craftmanship and tribal & cultural inspirations are since the beginning BRABBU\u2019s major skills and design inspirations<\/strong><\/a><\/em>. So when we face ourselves with someone that share the same ideals, it\u2019s easy to feel inspired by.<\/p>\n

And today we want to show you\u00a0Mandalayart<\/a><\/strong>. Developped by Soraya Meyer, a young portuguese woman, Mandalayart is a work of craftmanship inspired by the Mandala,\u00a0which\u00a0is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Indian religions, representing the universe.<\/p>\n

In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of practitioners and adepts, as a spiritual guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space, and as an aid to meditation and trance induction.<\/p>\n

Soraya can take more than 1 day to complete one single mandala. The size and complexity of each mandala varies according to the inspiration and person that will receive the mandala.\u00a0Wool yarn and small wood sticks are the only materials used.<\/p>\n

In common use, mandala has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe.<\/p>\n
