The excitement can no longer be contained. The countdown to Fifty Shades of Grey<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0premiere has officially started globally. Soon we will really see Jamie Dornan<\/a> as Mister Grey and we will witness his steamy story with beloved Anastasia Steele aka Dakota Johnson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although we choose to wait for the official movie release, we are taking a sneak peak at some initial commentaries and critics of the much talked about film adaptation of best seller Fifty Shades of Grey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Vanity Fair<\/a> journalist Richard Lawson says that \u201cFifty Shades of Grey<\/em>\u00a0is not the lame, hot-and-bothered fantasy romance many, including myself, thought it would be. It\u2019s got wit and humor and a modest intelligence about human behavior that, say, the\u00a0Twilight<\/em>\u00a0movies never had\u201d though perhaps the most graphic erotic scenes could have been left to the audience\u2019s imagination. The New York Post<\/a> says \u201cthe film never pretends to be other than what it really is: soft-core porn for the ladies, diluted with an \u2018R\u2019 rating.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Associated Press,<\/a> \u201cDirector Sam Taylor-Johnson had an impossible mission on her hands to meld the tawdry with the conventional [\u2026]\u00a0There have been perfume commercials with more depth and story arc\u201d however this has not tamed the world wide spread enthusiasm that is palpable everywhere as the opening date approaches.<\/p>\n

Critics aside, many journalists agreed that even though the movie was based on a story with a plot that can be defined rather simplistic, however the actors have done a good job with their characters and have turned the story of Christian<\/strong> and Anastasia<\/strong> into a not-only-erotic story with moments of humor and entertainment, that is probably going to pleasantly surprise the audience.<\/p>\n
