Tom Stringer Design Partners was founded in 1995, in Chicago by Tom Stringer, a Chicago Interior Designer that is since then the president of this modern interior design firm. The design process is seen as a voyage of discovering the distinctive story of each client and home, connecting them with a sense of wonder and the communal spirit of their space.
Tom Stringer Design Partners’ philosophy is client-centred and geographically specific and brings decades of experience collaborating with top architects, contractors, landscapers, and specialized tradespeople.
The firm’s management team is composed of John Cialone, partner and vice president, Rick Wetzel, director of interior architecture, and Kruti Zaveri, studio lead.
Tom Stringer Design Partners has been widely lauded for their classical contemporary designs. The firm won seventeen design excellence awards from the American Society of Interior Designers. Tom Stringer design partners are also repeatedly named by House Beautiful magazine to its list of the nation’s top interior design firms.

Tom Stringer has a degree from the College of Architecture and Environmental Design at Arizona State University. He states that the source of his inspiration is water, which flows through his life as an individual and as a designer, transporting him to freedom, and showing him a different way of seeing the world.
According to Stringer, a home should be the backdrop for a well-lived life with friends and family, so that’s the philosophy his design follows.
Most of Tom Stringer Design Partners’ projects take place in Chicago, given that the company is located there. But that’s not an impediment, they work in other states as well. They have already done several projects in other states such as California, Indiana, Michigan, Florida, and Colorado.

This corridor matches the colour tones of the bathroom.
This living room has quite an audacious design, mixing the slatted wood wall panel with a stone fireplace.
In this photography we can perceive a preference for pastel colours, enlivening the room without causing a huge impact on the overall picture.
The colours were chosen for this project recall the colours of the lake.
This living room mixes and matches such different textures and patterns, but, as always, it all combines so well.
This living room follows the same coherence of the other projects, opting for the contrast of a neutral background with some unobtrusive bright colours that bring the room to life.
